USA vs Yemen, the ultimate showdown.

Well well well. Looks like the US has a new middle eastern country to attack. Guess who it is. It’s Yemen! Not just the US, even the UK and Australia are on their side. But what could’ve Yemen done??

Well, it wasn’t really Yemen. It’s a rebellion group in Yemen called “the Houthis” that basically control the land due to a political crisis. They have a very colourful logo in Arabic. You might think they just have some regular Islamic phrases like “allahu akbar”. But that’s not all. The full colour phrase is:

God is the Greatest

Death to America

Death to Israel

A Curse Upon the Jews

Victory to Islam

That’s quite the message. No wonder why America doesn’t like them, but that’s not the reason why they decided to have another war with the oil lands. You see, the Houthis have launched drone attacks on ships. More specifically, ships that want to give stuff to Israel in the Red Sea. Like most Arab nations, the Houthis don’t like Israel. The only difference is that they have the guts to attack. 

They specifically targeted ships that are going to Israel, sometimes even merchant ships, to prevent Israel from getting the stuff. Although there were some ships that got the short end of the stick, even if they had “nothing to do with Israel”. Perhaps they did this to scare any ship thinking of going to Israel. This is their way of cutting Israel’s military supplies and other stuff.

Now the US likes to help Israel. They are buddies. So naturally, the US decided to retaliate, along with some other friends of Israel. They came with airstrikes, already killing 5 fighters. At least they didn’t go for the civilians(they wished). Naturally, there are some saying they support America, stating that the Houthis had what they asked for. There are also those who are against America, stating that America should mind its own business.

There is a lot of support for the US, but that will die down slowly and surely. Just like all their attacks on the middle east.
